Have a problem when playing free tournament PvP that in the first map forest of nifhel that if I die after score has got to 300 I won’t reload to the game, usual after re-spawn it loads instantly but if score is over 300 the game doesn’t reload instead it bugs on loading screen then moves to heart of the mists. This has happened on several occasions, and has cost my team the game a few times.

scratch that all maps, but only after a certain point. its very weird

Whenever you enter the jump puzzle in WvW, there is a high risk for the loading screen to never end. You are stuck.

On servers with a queue, this means being kicked out to the back of the line for hours.

Others can see your character standing there. Any commands we enter on the keyboard (while staring at the never ending loading screen) do nothing to the toon they see loaded.

I’ve been getting this bug a lot lately, too, in casual games. It’s incredibly annoying. I have to either Alt+F4 or wait for the map to end. I haven’t noticed a relation to score, but I haven’t really been paying attention to the game status before it happens, either.

I just got the bug after playing a long time at Borderlands. Why not just remove the whole feature of transporting players out of base with that screen?

I’ve had the stuck on loading screen bug happen to me about 6 times over the past three days of sPvP. The most recent time was just a few minutes ago. To be clear, I had already downloaded the patch before experiencing the issue during a match.

So, perhaps it’s not entirely fixed?

Were you suprised? I would just find another game to play for a couple months….if you want to even come back after that.

Alright. Enough is enough. Fire whoever decided that loading screens were good after you die instead of instantly sending you to your base.

Or fire the developer who cant fix the loading screen problem. Either one will fix the players problem.

Just happened AGAIN a minute ago.

I am getting in WvW now. After about every 2 or 3 deaths… stuck at loading. I have to kill the Client.
Weird thing is I am hearing in game stuff going on around me like Im loaded, but its still showing the Loading screen.

Just happened to me again too. After I died and clicked to respawn I got the Khylo loading screen for almost 10 minutes before it kicked me out. "lost connection to the server’ it says. I never get dropped at any other time except when respawning. It’s annoying. There should be a ‘cancel’ button or something so you don’t have to keep waiting for the disconnect.

Just happened to me AGAIN. I can hear stuff going on, but the loading screen is stuck. Very frustrating.

I can confirm that it still happens. With the latest patch, it now happens less frequently for me, but this issue still does not seem to be fixed completely.

Was entering with Sylvari thief
Can upload Dxdiag if needed and I remember to check back here :P

like title says still get loading screen bug when playing spvp usually when i get stomped by a stealth thief…

It still happens to me, but a lot less frequently. Maybe 1 in 20 games, instead of what is used to be. Even tho it happens a lot less, it still happens!!

Anyone else have similar experience?

When playing in Blackgate Borderlands (I’m on Tarnished Coast), when I leave our spawn I encounter a loading screen that once completed teleports me outside the spawn. If I later go back to spawn and try to leave I get stuck on the loading screen and have to Alt+F4. This has happened twice now.

I just had it happen in WvW enemy borderlands. Twice. Very annoying considering the queues.

Never experienced it before, however i did notice it mentioned in the patch notes as apparently fixed, however this is not the case.

Played First round of tourney, winning 450-400, downed by thief spinning, finished by asura guardian, chieftain up, svannir down.

Don’t have alot more details to have however I was stuck on the loading screen after trying to respawn until the end of the game.

Title. It happened 2 days ago when I entered blackgate’s keep’s JP portal, the screen just load and load. Knew there was something wrong because map rarely loads for over 10 seconds unless it was a first time loading that map or WvW kicks everyone out. I left it alone and went to youtube to pass the time. After a 2 minutes video, went back and the loading screen is still loading. ALT-F4 and went back in, was fine so I thought it was just a coincidence

Today, it happened again, this time in Fort Aspenwood’s portal. Infinite loading screen, did the same thing, waited 2 minutes nothing changed.
This is really annoying especially with WvW’s queue time.

YES the circle thing in the loading screen was still in-motion, so the game DID NOT freeze. Just letting Anet know about this, if this issue have not been reported.

Im sure there has been many forums about when you die, you go into a loading screen and stay in that screen until you force close the game. This issue has been going on since release. Can we get a response that doesn’t have to do with “Contact customer support.” It’s an actual “game” bug please apply yourselves and find a fix. It happens roughly 1/8 matches (both sPVP/tPVP)

Fixed a recently introduced issue that could cause some players to getting stuck in loading screens primarily during PVP matches

That was from the October 11th update notes. However, I literally just had to kill GW2 after the game got hung up on a loading screen during spvp yet again. Was finally in a decent team for a change and this happens again. Even when they say it’s fixed.

It happend to me right now.. after playng for.. dont know 2hours on pvp, everything was normal~ then boom* loading stuck

This seems to have cropped up again as of sometime today. It’s happened in 2 games I’ve played forcing me to either kill the game or wait until the map changes. Just wanted to bring this to your attention as the previous fix seems to have broken itself.

Just happened to me too during a raid on the capricorn game. Not fixed sadly. First time this has happened to me.

I got stuck at the loading screen again respawning in spvp. Give us at least a cancel button or something!!!! kitten it stinks just waiting, I guess I could kill the app.

Still happens to me.

Since the latest build, about 20% of the time when taking a portal to another city the game locks up. Its bad rolling the dice for simple teleportation. Also, have seen lockups happen when using the fractal portal. Please address these issues.

Hope you guys are using something like purify to catch these lockup conditions.
