So AC path 3 (Taking Tzark’s plan to stop the Colossus Rumbus) has been bugged for a few days that I’ve noticed. Basically you run the whole dungeon, and then get to the point, after killing the four graveling burrows in the great hall, where Grast is supposed to open the tunnel so that you can go find Colossus Rumbus. While the wp (Reliquary Waypoint) becomes available the tunnel wall does not come down, and you are unable to finish the dungeon. Grast will respawn with you, but Tzark will be stuck looking at a wall in the great hall and the two never finish their conversation which triggers the tunnel opening up.

I’ve actually run this with the same people and we finally narrowed down two possibilities of what is causing this bug. (We tried everything from Waypointing all over the place, to everyone relogging one by one, to running the entire path of the dungeon again, to all of us dying and then waypointing to the same location)

1) We noticed that everytime it bugged like this Warmaster Grast had died before the fourth burrow was finished off in the great hall.

2) Everytime this bugged at least one person has waypointed to Reliquary waypoint before the door leading to that waypoint was opened Grast (which will not happen when it bugs).

Each time that we re-ran the dungeon if we did not meet those above two conditions it bugged. If we made sure to leave one player with grast ensuring that he stayed alive, and did not waypoint early the conversation would complete and the wall would come down as planned.

If you guys get a chance to look into this that would be great. If you need help reproducing the issue we are willing to help however we can (videos, screenshots, running with you, etc.)

Server: Gate of Madness
Map: Ascalonian Catacombs (Great Hall where Warmaster Grast is)
Players:
Level 80 Asuran Warrior
Level 80 Norn Thief
Level 80 Asuran Elementalist
Level 80 Sylvari Thief
(The last player was an LFG add. I don’t remember his level although he was a sylvari ranger).

I have yet to see it happen but have read that it bugs because people port to the wp.

Yeah I feel that it is more than just porting to the wp or they changed something. I run it with pretty much the same people nightly, and we always ported ahead of the conversation finishing, and it never bugged on us until this weekend.

Same thing happened to us yesterday:
Tzark got stuck in a wall after we used the waypoint to get past the closed doors.
We could not get him unstuck by teleporting or wiping. Grast was following us,
but Tzark remained stuck.

Bumping…. Still an issue. If you just let us know you put it in TFS or Jira (or whatever you use), we would appreciate it! If you need me to make a video of how to reproduce it I can get a group together to do it.

I can’t believe that this is STILL an issue, even after a whole year. It happened trice this week and frankly I don’t have the patience for bugs like this anymore…
The way I see it there is no solution around this issue but to restart the whole path. Usually it doesn’t bug when you finish it fast and then teleport but I’ve noticed that Tzark may get stuck depending on the order in which you destroy the burrows (this might need more testing though, but that isn’t hard because this bug pretty much happens once a week) because he follows the players around.

I really hope this get fixed, because at this point it has become plain annoying.
