First of all, I can confirm that NVIDIA has fixed this GW2 ambient occlusion problem for Windows 7 since driver 344.11…

But ever since, there is now a NEW problem with GW2 ambient occlusion [tested with new driver 344.60]…

The problem: Ambient occlusion alternatingly disappears and reappears on a character about every 10 seconds. Seems to only happen at the character select screen. And I don’t even need to rotate the camera for it to happen. Can this be fixed?

Windows 7 x64 SP1
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti [driver 344.60]

still a problem. i already have the newest driver 347.88 freshly installed. can this be fixed in a future update?

please fix.

or as a workaround, add official support for ambient occlusion to GW2’s graphics options—so we don’t have to rely on our video driver’s ambient occlusion.

the problem is more easily noticeable on light colored characters—since it’s a soft shadow effect
