Ran client repair, still bugged, pvp build fully specced, but wants me to select preset, which does not clear the bug. I can click continue but doesn’t let me if i am solo or not the q starter of a party.

May I ask you what class are you using? I’m getting the same bug. I use an Engineer.
Anyway, it’s not something caused by missing files, it’s a bug from the latest patch, i assume

same here,but only happens with one toon ,rest of the toons can queue .

Forgot to say its my engie the only one that can not queue.

I can queue, but on my ele it keeps telling me i’m missing some equipment part…i have dagger, focus, 2 sigils, rune and amulet, what I could be missing?

Same here. You can ignore the message when queuing, but it’s still very annoying. The red exclamation mark at the build tab also shows up.

Could you kittening fix that pls, thx. Can’t even accept when my teammate queues us in duo, and need to start the q myself.

just to add to the frustrations, yes i can confirm its only my engi and all of this is true.

I also have that issue with my engineer. I assume that it is caused by engis (and elementalists) only having one weapon set and the “second” set missing sigils.

It’s been 4 build patches, please fix this.

Guess it will just be ignored, because kitten PvP and some teleports in a random volcano are more important.

I’m having the same problem on my Ele. It was the first toon i logged into pvp after the patch. All the ones after i have no problems with.

The number of patches doesn’t signal anything about this bug being ignored or anything: it might turn out to be something complex, or hard to reproduce, or where the solution is causing other issues, so they are working super-hard to fix it.

The other bugs, perhaps, were much easier to address, so they shipped sooner, rather than hold everything up waiting for this one bug. As soon as it can be resolved, I’m sure we will see another patch and, consequently, no more pain.

I’ve got this bug on my ele as well.

It doesn’t allow me to queue at all though, so PvP is pretty much closed for me, at least Unranked/Ranked – I still can get into custom arenas I guess, but its kinda pointless.

When I try to queue – dialog pops saying I’m missing build components, I go to mists, open build panel – it highlights DEFAULT builds combobox. I even tried using one of those (selecting) – it equips weapons/sigils/rune/amulet but problem doesn’t disappear. Quite frustrating issue.

At the same time on other characters I don’t get this dialog even if something is missing which is pretty hilarious.

Same issue, elementalist here.

Cannot accept invites, I’ve tried swapping weapons, sigils. runes etc, nothing helps and neither does selecting a default build.

Must be super hard to fix

Only happens with engineers and eles — because we don’t have weapon swaps.

I bet it’s not even remotely that simple, because even if the anet developers were as kitten as you think they are, that’s not too hard for the slowest developer to put into the build.

Since it is … pretty unlikely they are really that bad, it seems like there must be something making this much harder to resolve than it seems like it should be.
