i got an email about LOR 748 about this title and lost the title
also lost some achievement points as i see i have the next reward box on 15,500 and i have now 14688 so i lost about 800 points

wth?

also i cannot claim any rewards now from the hall of monuments

There is a fix: go to the HoM Reward Calculator and enter your GW1 character’s name there. Then the next time you log into GW2, the title and achievements should be restored. It worked for me.

For anyone experiencing the same thing:

• There’s a bug that shows up for some people every so often, unknown origin (which is why it still keeps coming back).
• It’s just a bug — your actual achievements etc are unaffected; it just seems dire.
• There are several things that people have done that will resolve the issue for them. Here are some, listed from least effort to most tedious.
  • Exit the game and restart it.
  • Exit the game, start GW1, start one toon (doesn’t matter which) and exit GW1. Restart GW2.
  • Similar: as noted above, enter the name of any GW1 character in the HoM rewards calculator, with GW2 closed. Restart GW2.
  • Worst case: close GW2, start GW1 and have any character enter the HoM itself from the EotN outpost. Close GW1 and restart GW2.

Fortunately, none of those require any technical knowledge.
