[BUG] Justiciar Hablion Daily Credit
Just killed Hablion 3 times where I got event credit but the daily achievement would not complete. I’ve had this in the past too but never 3 times in a row.
Well, that’s super frustrating. I’ve never heard of this happening and I’ve been killing the Justiciar daily. I’ve even shown up late to the fight.
As I’m sure you know, one can get event credit without getting drop (and daily) credit for Legendary foes. Typically (on some profs), I don’t get the extra champ bags from Karka Queen unless I’m among the first to hit her.
Joining a party reduces the chance that this could happen, so that’s worth trying. Also, with Hablion, I try to get in the air as much as possible because turning the #1 skill into an autoattack generates a ton of damage, more so than a lot of toons can easily manage during the fight. (Plus: the #2 skill is just so good.)
Are you getting to the fight super late? I know some people prefer to finish Jade chain + LUG before heading ‘upstairs’ and it’s possible that some arrive a tad too late. (Although, again, I haven’t experienced it myself despite my late arrival.)
I’d also use the in-game /bug reporting tool should it happen again. Whatever is going on, ANet will have better luck troubleshooting if they can see your combat log.
The last thing I can think of is that your daily isn’t resetting properly, but I can’t think of any way to test that in-game, aside from letting Hablion alone for 2 days in a row.

I was in a squad the second time using primarily air attacks until his last phase. One thing common among these three times, compared to other times where it succeeded, was that he got burned down fairly quickly. On the first instance, we burned him down to about 38% before he went into the phase with the spirits.
It’s kind of funny though since a level 2 character can get credit without any issues by using the glider skills and yet I’m running into difficulty on a level 80.
EDIT: Looks like I’m not the only one. Just did a google search.
Edit2: Just did it again but more slowly and got credit. I didn’t do anything differently and the only difference was that this time it got killed more slowly. The bug probably has something to do with how quickly you kill him whether it be based on the timer or whatever.
