Seems to me that some attacks use the “stock sound” (which gets modified by the weapon type where applicable) and others have a custom sound that doesn’t get changed. Don’t know if that’s the case with those Thief skills you mentioned as I don’t have a Thief character, but I know my Mesmer doesn’t get the custom sound from the Super Pistol on skill 5 because its a unique sound effect to begin with. And I’m already doubting that the Ley Line Greatsword will affect any of my Mesmer’s greatsword attacks either (maybe #2 at most).

If they fix those bugs as fast as the mesmer ones this will soon be a feature.

Heh, Guardian shouts were recently “fixed” too. Now only some of them are broken!
