I have had issues with this achievement since launch with no progress on my bar at all so went out of my way to get at least 200k exp on a toon before a death was incurred. I have a screenshot taken after the point of death before any more experience was earned and have linked both the shot and a google docs file illustrating that i did indeed cross the threshold for the first tier of lifetime survivor with NO progress on the bar whatsoever. I have had no problems with the monthly title, just the one in the hero tab.

Just reporting that a bug still exists for some users if not all after some thorough testing on my part. Hope it helps.

Good luck – they are not addressing ANYTHING for the past week at least – time for them to fix stuff, tell us why they are not fixing it, or prepare to lose the majority of their player base. I really can’t believe this is Arena Net treating the player base like this.

Aha no, that was totally unintentional… It’s a shame, I’m sure they’re doing their best but they must have crazy amounts of data and bugs coming through atm with the mac beta so… hopefully this thread keeps going as it’s the first I’ve seen with solid proof it should have unlocked.
