I just attempted, twice, to enter Lonar’s Pass throughout the Cavern Waypoint exit in LA and couldn’t. It kept loading Lonar’s Pass, then I could hear the sound of teleportation and LA was loading again, putting me back where I was before.

Just tried it; it’s working for me.
Try it again and then use the in-game /bug reporting tool — this will give ANet some specific data on the issue and help them to troubleshoot.

If you want to do your own troubleshooting, try it again on another toon and share those results via /bug (whether successful or not). If you want to get help on the issue, contact customer service:

thanks for the response. Apparently, it was connected to having a story mission active where I needed to travel to the Priory’s headquarter. It’s working fine otherwise.
