Guild Wars 2

In 2012, I was ridiculously excited for not only the release of Guild Wars 2, but also the subsequent release on the Mac platform. Needless to say, the past 3 years have been heartbreaking…

Even still, I tried to come back to GW2 on several occasions… I want to love this game, but I literally can’t right now. At best, I could get somewhere less than an hour worth of gameplay… then the client would crash.

At this point, I can’t even launch the game beyond the login client. I have tried reinstalling the entire game and running the repair via the recommended terminal repair:

/applications/guild\ wars\ 2.app/contents/MacOS/cider —use-dos-cwd C:Gw2 -- C:\\GW2\\GW2.exe –repair

No success.
