[BUG] Nearest Enemy shouldn't target walls
You’re always expecting the enemy zerg to try and kill you, but you’d never expect the walls. The walls have been waiting all this time for the perfect chance to strike, and soon the walls will make their move.
It is time for WvWvWvW: World versus World versus World versus Walls.
The end is near.
it should also not target gates.

how about there’s a hierarchy? first targets champs, then elite/players, then normal npc, then gates/walls.

It’s actually called “Nearest Enemy” in the control options. That should mean that only RED opponents are selected since yellow targets are considered neutral.
If they followed their own terminology, we would have to actively click on a yellow object to target it. Fine by me!

Huh, never actually noticed that. Definitely agree. “Nearest Enemy” should only be targeting reds. Yellow/White should have to be actively targeted. Anet, fix this please.

There is also a new bug since 9/9 where ‘target closest enemy’ will ignore LoS and target enemies behind walls in other rooms. This is extremely frustrating in dungeons. Cm is a great example of how this can cause a wipe by over-aggro. Plz fix targeting issues again Anet.
This is also extremely frustrating when running along walls. The walls are prioritized whenever the closest enemy is farther than the targeting locus of the wall itself.
Walls aren’t my enemies, Arenanet. Neither are gates, moas, rabbits, boars, or anything else that is yellow.
