Guild Wars 2

Greetings,

As a first time player in the Super Adventure Box, I gotta say it is one of the most addicting and fun experiences. However, in World 2, my friend and I found out how exhausting it can be, especially since we are aiming to complete all the achievements. We spent 5 and a half hours in World 2 zone 3 (not exaggerating) trying to complete the Master of Baubles World 2 achievement and others. We followed a video guide to every single Bauble and kept count in our chat. We know there are 63 Baubles in this map (from video and wiki) and our method hasn’t failed on us yet….until this one unavoidable problem occurred; disconnecting from the game. As soon as we disconnected, our Bauble progress was lost. When we talked to Betty, she told us we didn’t have them all. 5 hours down the drain because we disconnected. This is a HUGE problem. My friend disconnected at the 58th Bauble!! (I disconnected 10 minutes in.) We were so close that when we failed we couldn’t even get mad. After all the falls, deaths, and intense focus, we were too tired.

This bug needs to be looked into, this event is too tedious to let Bauble progress be lost as soon as someone disconnects from the game. Disconnects are far too common of a occurrence to let this slide under the bug radar. As an added bonus, if for some impossible reason, we missed a Bauble, have Betty tell us how many we have collected and how many we still need. Then we’ll know it’s our mistake and can go back to search out the rest.

Update:

We attempted it again and completed it in 3 hours this time. No disconnecting occurred and we still didn’t get the achievement. All 63 baubles were found.

Through research, we found out that if your bauble purse reaches 500, any more baubles you collect wont count toward your progress. This did happen to us both. We’re going to try again with 50 – 100 baubles starting out for amo. Third time is the charm I hope.

WE DID IT!! OMG :"D It was the pouch thing. We finally got it!! To future readers, be sure to have emptied your bags of extra Baubles so it will count them! I wish you the best of luck and much patience! It is completely possible to achieve this.

To ArenaNet, FIX THIS! T_T Come on, that is insane to have no check in place about the pouch thing! I know it’s an April Fool’s joke, but that’s pushing it. There is still Tribulation Mode to get, we don’t need bugs like this on top of that.
