Hi. There is a bug while proceeding skill chalange @ Stormbluff isle. Players can use the cannon, but nothing else happend. Just bam and this is it. No one can coplete this chelenge.

The cannons will not fire over the small wall in front of them no matter how long the fire button is held down. I have tried every single cannon and cannot complete the skill point thus stopping me completing the area.

-Area cannot be completed until fixed.

If the bug reporting in game works for you, it might not because of the very same patch, but if it does you might want to report this through that and tick “blocking progress” or whatever it is labeled as.

The cannonballs won’t fire out of the cannons.

It’s impossible to finish this skill point as when firing the cannons, the shell instantly explodes. This blocks progression as you need to hit 3 of the pirate targets to achieve the skill point.

Doesn’t matter ho longer you hold down the fire button or what cannon you use. Same result.

Still bugged. Cannons are not firing passed the wall.

Still bugged. Got my hopes up when there was a small dl this morning, but oh well.

The cannons don’t aim higher as you hold down skill 2 so they’re shoots straight into the wall. After you shot the cannons aim upwards, but then again when you try it, it shoots into the wall!
Please fix this! Thank you!

I’ve noticed a bug in Stormbluff Isle with the skill point.
The cannons shoot on the wall in front and not on the cliff. All the cannons have the same problem, no matter how long i press the fire button.

Same here. Please fix this soon as it is impeding my world completion and likely that of many others.

Yeah, it’s blocking my world completion aswell on my alt Warrior. Pls fix in next patch.

Jup, I’ve been having the exact same problem. The cannons in this skill challenge shoot out the shells, but they explode inmediatly. Very annoying for those who want to complete the area. All of the people around say that it’s a bug too, so I geuss it’s not just my fault of not understanding what to do. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Yup. Currently sitting at 99% world completion with this skill point being the only one left and it really, really sucks.

The Stormbluff Isle Skill Point Challenge seems to be bugged. There is no tracker for the cannons nor do the fired shots appear to travel any distance, they just seem to blow up instantly no matter how long you charge up the shot.

The skill point at Stormbluff Beacon in Bloodied Coast is bugged and preventing 100% map completion.

When you shoot the cannons the cannon ball does not make it out of the cannon, instead it appears to impact with something inside the cannon’s barrel.

Still broken, you fire the cannon but it hits the castle wall everytime aka broken.

Ye, me too. But I’m just going to be playing different maps for the time being.

I’m here with like 6 or 7 other people, can confirm the cannons are broken.

Looks like there is an invisible wall blocking the shots.

It’s been broken for a week now. If they can’t fix it, I wish they’d just change it to a consumable item skill point or a npc duel, at least temporarily, so some people can finish world completion. I mean, the biggest deal with the skill points and world/map completion location are collecting them, what you do doesn’t really matter >_>.

^^ i believe they just fixed it 10 minutes ago with the recent patch

Back to being bugged again I think. I remember trying this years ago and it never worked no matter how many times I tried. What’s interesting is I was just there getting the vista on the cliff, watched someone shoot a cannonball over my way, and it hit the target right next to me. So, I figured, it’s fixed right? Nope. Went over and they all hit the wall right in front of them. Even tried to fire while the cannon was angled up in the air, but no dice. Maybe it only works for -some- people (the game hates me I’m sure)

Still no fix yet? Seems a lot of people trying this Hero “Challenge” whenever I come across it. Any ETA on this one, Anet?

Hi, the Stormbluff Isle skill point/hero challenge is still bugged for me, has been for about two weeks now. The same bug that everyone has been reporting, about the cannon hitting some sort of invisible wall.. Please see if you guys can fix it! I would like to complete the map
