If I die on any character while doing any quest I am kicked to the character screen with a message about my internet connection, it is NOT my internet. I am still online everywhere else like Teamspeak and other devices on my network.
I have had to do 3 quests 3 times each because of this and it’s getting pretty annoying!! I have reinstalled the game twice clean and even tried to repair the game but the repair stops responding every time I try.

happened to me a few times and what i noticed is each time i was in invisible mode i DC.

So i’m persuaded that if you die in HoT story while playing in invisible mode you get DC. Each time it happened to me was during that quest you do in rabbit form.

I never change it to invisable.

I’ve done that, I’m still waiting for some kind of response or support and nothing yet.

Did you receive the near-immediate automated reply, ‘Thank you for your request’?

If not, you can find Stickies in the Account Support sub-forum with instructions regarding ‘Not Receiving Emails’.

Do make sure to use the web-form (accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below) to submit your support request, rather than the in-game Bug Report form, as the Bug Report form will garner no response, as indicated on the report form window.

I’m pretty sure I’ve done all that and got the email but it’s been over a month so my memory may not be so great.

If it has been over a month, likely you will need to create a new Support Request.
You can update your existing one first, though, just in case it hasn’t been closed.

I posted this over a month ago and still no help with it. I am only reposting here incase it just wasn’t seen by ArenaNet.

Just happened again, I reported it again in game and it said the report was sent. Let’s see how many more months until I get a response and/or fix.

Final battle on the airship with zhaitan, the very last stage of the fight where he’s holding on to the pillar…died, kicked to character select screen and now I get to do the whole quest over again from the beginning!!!

Good to know thanks! I don’t necessarily need a response as long as it’s gets fixed.
