I just wish to highlight that I noticed over the past couple of patches, it seems to have increase whether intentionally or unintentionally the speed of the undead/risen creatures.

Now they move in fast forward animation and dashes towards us instead of running towards us at reasonable speed.

One significant difference is that previously, we are able to tactically kite around the foe but now, its extremely difficult because the foe moves so fast that it practically runs behind us at every second.

Hope the developers team can look into this problem and set it back to a reasonable rate.

This happens to me from time to time. If I have to run through a group of Risen I normally drop a stimulant from my med kit, but when the Risen go haywire and run in fast forward like that, I can’t outrun them. So one will catch me and slow me down, and due to their aggro range, I’ll have a Risen group pileup.

Or have several speedster Risen after me at once, but thankfully it’s uncommon enough that it doesn’t happen often.

I have no idea if it’s intentional or not, I kinda hope not. I like a challenge, but it makes moving through Orr by myself a nightmare when this happens.

It happens not only in orr, cursed shore or straits of devastation, it also occurs in lower level storyline instances. I believe something needs to be done to slow down the undead/risen folks in Tyria.

I get this too. It’s immensely frustrating. I suspect that the risen are supposed to be coded to run at half speed, but something is making the opposite happen and they’re running double speed. The animation makes them look ridiculous too.
