Today i made daily fractal10 and was rewarded with a destroyer core, one rare unnamed weapon, magi’s ring also rare, and magi’s spineguard by the final chest from the jade maw.
while all rares were salvagable and valuable, the rare magi’s spineguard back item wasn’t salvagable and just cheap junk, this might be due to the newly adding of back items as drops but also adopting it’s former item behaviour as a story only or a karma only reward which are generally not salvagable as far as i know.
there are several other topics about that already but you still haven’t noticed as it appears.

I second this. It’s terrible to get a rare item and it turns out to be vendor trash. Hell, I received an exotic spineguard that’s account bound and I can’t even forge it or sell it on the tp. What a waste.
