Hire a monkey to literally turn it off and on again.

Just fix this stupid crap if you’re going to make it a requirement for collections.

How hard is it to restart a server Anet?

This has been broken for 3 days straight. I’ve submitted multiple bug reports. I paid $100 for the privilege of this collections content ($200 if you count my wife’s account). I don’t expect immediate fixes for everything, but this is starting to get frustrating.

Please fix, this is getting tiresome in the extreme.

They are probably gonna wait till next Tuesday when they release the raids and those new legendary weapons.

In that patch they’ll probably fix most (all?) the things reported so far, that way we can all be super happy how the patch notes are huge and how they do so many things and work very very hard. Fixing things one by one won’t get their work notices as much, or at least that’s what they think.

Brutal if that is the case.

Even if one of them actually deigned to say something like that, it would be an improvement to the silence….at least that way I would know not to keep checking the kitten ed area and I could go do something else without fear of missing the one hour window when the thing actually works……….

You have to look at it from their perspective I guess. A collection thing is not really at the top of their priority list probably.

At least you know that the collection thingy you are going for (I am not sure for what Bashing Bauxite Alchemicals is needed yet) is going to get fixed for sure.

I am going for Kraitkin precursor collection and at tier 1 you have to kill a mob in Dry Top called the Dune Soarer. He spawns once every three weeks (at least that’s what it feels like), and even when he does he is alive for about 30 seconds at best.

So if I want to get it I have to stand in one place and wait for him to appear. Can’t even do the events in Dry Top cause if he does come people might not tell you on the map chat, and even if they do you might not get there in time cause he dies so fast.

Bashing Bauxite was bugged/stalled in Desolation for over a week, every time I checked. I guested to Fissure of Woe at about 1pm GMT today and it wasn’t bugged. Finally got it!

Guesting no longer works cause of the mega servers afaik.

Could be – I don’t know.

But whatever I did – it got me onto a map where the event was working Before trying to guest I tried logging out and in dozens of times, tried changing my own IP address /region via VPN, etc etc. Only guesting threw me onto a new IP address.

Maybe it was a coincidence, but both times I tried guesting, I ended up on a different server IP.

Just submited a ticket about this, and reported on it in the Legendary Prec Crafting Bugs thread. Hopes this will be fix asap.

I did the event last night, so I thought it was fixed. I might have just gone to the map when it happened to be busy enough to create a new instance, though.

guesting doesn’t work. tried multiple different worlds over the last couple of days. just end up in the same server.
