I’ve had it happen (at least) twice now that partial stacks of Baubles in my inventory or in my bank have vanished into the ether. The ones in my bank disappeared when I tried to transfer them into inventory (double-clicking the stack). The ones in inventory disappeared somewhere between trading in full stacks to Moto and reentering the Box.

Sounds like you have or had a small partial stack hidden somewhere deep in your inventory. When you took baubles from bank to inventory, they went to that small stack that you didn’t see and it looked like they disappeared. When you traded baubles at Moto, the partial stack at the upper part of your inventory and the partial hidden deeper totaled a full stack and were traded. Also note that Moto includes baubles in your bank, so it’s possible to have a full stack from partial in inventory + partial in bank. That can make it look like your baubles are disappearing, even though you actually just traded 1 extra time.
