So, I attempted to craft a Berserker’s Destroyer Greatsword. Used a Berserker’s Orichalcum Imbued Inscription, as you can see in the attachment below, but it turned into a Valkyrie Destroyer Greatsword – which you can also see in the attachment.

I filed a bug report in game, but I figured it would be prudent to do the same here. It can also serve as a warning to anyone who might attempt to craft a Destroyer weapon – not sure if this is unique to the “Berserker” insignia or if all of them are doing something similar.

Hey, good job on posting this. I’m in a really awkward position right now because I have already made my Berserker’s inscription for my Destroyer Greatsword. But, I can buy a Valkyrie inscription off of the TP and I will not loose any money! The only problem is, I do not know if it is fixed yet and if it will be fixed. So I am stuck and cant do anything ! Can u reply to me in this thread if the devs contact you and give you some clear information. Thanks, -Kings.

Still not fixed, just made a valkyrie one myself and it is an incredibly annoying bug considering the cost to make one of these.

Yep. Supposedly you have to make a Valkyrie one to make a Berserker one – which I’m going to attempt to do. Just need a few final mats to complete it.

Going to wait for the patch notes first – last thing I want to do is make a second Valkyrie when I’m aiming for a Berserker for myself.

Don’t know if it is fixed. But if you want a Berserkers Greatsword I’d recommend the mystic forge. It’s way cheaper.

i would only suggest the mystic forge way if you don’t plan on doing a legendary or dont care about farming skill points. Getting 50 skill points would take bit longer then farming 5g or so.

To clarify the inscription issue, this is only with Inscriptions created by Weaponsmiths. If you create and use a Beserker Inscription with an Artificer for instance, your weapon will come out as Beserker. And as such inscriptions made by weaponsmiths will require a Valkyrie for Beserker weapons and vice versa.
