The booster says that it gives 100% karma gain, but the birthday buff doesn’t say anything about karma, and if my experience is right it does not give extra karma. Is this a wording error or a functionality error?

Likely a tool-tip error, but if it is a bug, it is known, and somewhere on the list of non-game-breaking bugs.
