Since glory was removed the boost is supposed to be for rank points, but it’s not resulting in any gains at all.

This is effecting both the reward tracks (no gain, unsure if intentional), and rank points themselves (clearly unintended, points go up the exact amount of the popup which is the same (500 for loss, 1500 for win) regardless of the boost.

It is not mentioned on birthday booster anything about sPvP ranks or experience gain, only for WvW. Did they mention somewhere that it whould work for sPvP too?

Yes, read the item. It used to be 100% extra glory, but it changed to 100% extra rank points.

It’s 100% exp, 100% gold, 100% karma, 100% rank points, 100% wvw exp. I don’t really care about any of the others so I haven’t tested whether everything isn’t working, I’d say it’s rank point specific though since that was a recent change.

Hm…maybe you have some other birthday booster that I do not know of, but this is what mine reads:
“Double-click to gain a 24-hour buff that grants a 100% boost to magic find, karma gain, WvW rank gain, experience from kills, and gold from kills.”
