There is a way to sell a dye from the 3rd year birthday gift. It would be nice is this was a bone to those of us with 100% dye unlock, but it’s sitting in my bank until this is confirmed.

Get a rare dye from the Zephyrite swatches, those aren’t account bound. Sell them.

You’re missing the point, some people had time to sell some electro dyes but the rest of us can’t because now it’s account bound, which makes it unfair for those of us who can’t I have an electro blue and couldn’t care less about not using it. I might as well say it’s wothless while others make an insane profit with theirs.

It’s not unfair. The people who sold/sell Electro Blue dyes either got them from the gem store or by buying them on the TP. No one is able to sell the birthday gift ones because Anet made those account bound (to keep the dye market from being flooded, I guess). Fairness doesn’t matter because it’s two different situations. If you didn’t want to use the gem store dye (which pretty much everyone knew was account bound before choosing it), then you could have chosen one of the Zephyrite colors and sold that one.
