If you enter the Super Adventure box – not the levels, just the box itself, the non-instanced place with the houses – your 24h birthday buff gets lost. Without warning. I’d very much like a refund, i had 23 hours left on mine when it disappeared, and at least move the warning (that is given when you try to enter a level, but at that point you’ve already lost your buff) to the entrance of the super adventure box, please.
It’s seriously frustrating to lose the nicest part of a GW birthday present just like that, without even being warned

Yea, I lost mine too. I had about 14 hours left, and like you there was no warning. I got a second one on the same character when they were sent out somehow, so it’s not all bad.

Oh that’s what it was I didn’t realise SAB did it I thought I lost it just from the update. I also had about 22 hours left :S

I came here to complain that mine was gone too, but I see that others have already noticed it. It really sucks to lose a good boost.

As much as I would like to get the boost back I mostly want the problem fixed so I can go back into SAB, the character I have all the items on still has about 20 hours on his booster

First of all I don’t even want the booster back they already screwed up and sent me doubles on one character. However, it is a bit silly to have the current living story, which occurs about a year after release, destroy the boosters that we are given a year after release.

kitten sake man, learn to read. My main complaint is, that there /isn’t/ a warning when you enter the box, which is where you lose all your buffs. The warning appears when you try to enter the levels – which is about as sensible as “Hey, watch out, you’re going to lose all the buffs we just took 10 seconds ago without telling you first”.

Or maybe they should just pause the buffs and let us resume them when we come out of the SAB. That can’t be that hard to program, just treat them as if we’ve logged out of the game.

Yea, failure to read warnings cannot be compensated with reimbursement.

I got this warning yesterday prior to trying to enter that my buffs would be removed, so this is already clear enough as it is.

Everything is removed from you inside the SAB – yes, it’s sad you lost your boost but like you say, you already got a duplicate gift so be thankful for that… whether you already spent that one or got it in bank ready for use later.

And no, they won’t fix it so you can retain your boosts in SAB – the point is you get stripped of them all in there; boosts, gear, etc. You work within the constraints of the SAB and the 7 upgrades you can acquire from playing there.

First off, once again, there is /no/ warning before you lose the buffs. The warning comes when you’ve already lost them. That does not help. And please do try to read the original post before trying to be smart.
Secondly, not everyone got 2 presents. I, myself, belong to the people who just got one, and I’m pretty certain that not everyone got 2, also, that has nothing to do with the problem at hand. The fact that some people got 2 birthday presents was a bugfix for a prior bug where some people didn’t get a present, and you can’t go and say ‘because some people got 2 presents anyway, every furhter bug that takes away your present doesn’t matter’
Thirdly, like I said, I’m not asking them to rebuild the adventure box so you can have swiftness in there, I’m asking for the warning to be moved to the actual entrance (which is where you lose your buffs), and I’d also like to get back my birthday buff because it’s just unfair to lose it in half a second without a warning.

The problem here is not that people can’t read the warnings, it’s that the moment where the buffs are removed actually occurs BEFORE you are shown any warning. I just tried this out, using an Experience Booster that I didn’t need before entering the SAB. (screenshot #1)
There is no dialogue or warning when you enter the SAB, you only get prompted to “travel” by pressing F. After the loading screen, however, your buffs are already missing. (screenshot #2) If you then continue on to one of the houses, you will be warned that you’ll lose your buffs – a little too late. (screenshot #3)
If the dialogue with the warning would activate upon trying travel to the SAB lobby, then you would have a chance to keep your buffs. This way, they are simply taken from you if you make the mistake of entering the SAB, even though you get a warning afterwards.

I did NOT enter SAB (not my cup of tea) and also lost my Birthday Magic Find boost. Opened it on Tuesday and probably had used 6 hours on it. POOF! It’s gone. Has support replied to anyone on this?
