According to Dulfy, to get this achievement one must go to the top of the helix without being hit by the vines AND the mobs.

I tried multiple times now, making sure i wasn’t hit by anything at all, cleared all mobs and vinewalls on both paths, still no achievement.

I hope that pets/minions etc do not count againt it. I tried on my ranger and let my pet ‘tank’ the mobs, while I stayed out of harms way.

Any workarounds to get this? Or truly bugged and not available?

Yeah I’ve tried this on 9 different characters now, each one being very careful to not get hit by anything and to kill everything yet I still didn’t get. Something seems off.

I was able to get the untethered achievement after three tries:
1.) Did both sides of Helix before jumping up to the next platform
2.) I was hit by mobs, so that’s not the issue.
3.) I did not get hit by vines
4.) Didn’t die
Also, the achievement was earned after I jumped up to Faolin, and I soloed with my Necro.

I just got the achievement this past weekend, didn’t get hit by any vines, but I DID get hit by mobs.

Make sure you don’t hit the water below at all, as the vines also spawn there (in the same path, not all of the water, but I’d avoid all water just in case)

You should get the achievo when you reach end platform, so Faolain fight doesn’t matter.

I just ran along edges of one side, ranging things down or meleeing the walls from the edge.

I did it this way twice, first time didn’t trigger the achievo.
