Guild Wars 2

So I opened some black lion chests…
Instead of getting three items, some of them are giving two items?
Last one opened:
1 copper
3x Mystery Tonics
1 black lion key
Whats up with that?

Not to mention some are giving 2x heavy bags + 1x key?

Happened again…
Can we get some kind of quick fix for this? Or at least remove them?

In my opinion the Black Lion Chests are not worth purchasing the keys for. I refuse to use my gems up for the poor rewards contained in the chests. If I get a key drop, then I try it, but have not been impressed with the contents at any time.

I cannot use the tonics. If I get a booster most often it is for speed buff or crafting buff, neither of which I can use. I have noticed nothing of worth ever drops from any of the chests I have opened and I have almost 100 chests in my bank.

It would be nice if the rewards were better or even useable.

Would be nice if they dropped some random craft mats or something.. The gold bag was a nice touch but really 90 copper? lol

Same problem – opened like 20 chests in the beginning of Wintersday and half of them has given just 2 items instead of 3 … i have wasted nearly all my gold for that and only things i´ve got were Tonics and few bags / boosters

I will add that you said there will be bags of coins that’s great to hear, but I opened about 10 black lion chests and got 6 bags of gold. When I opened them I got like 6 times less than 2 silver. While we have a chance to receive coins from 80 copper to 1,6 gold so that’s really weird that I got just 12 silver ;s

I’ve got a sneaky feeling that although there is a chance for higher gold from the bags it is extremely unlikely as well. Unlike everything else in the game whereby when a variance between # and # is stated, all numbers in between are equally likely, it doesn’t seem to be the case here from online testimonies. Personally I got 6 bags, averaging 4s and no more than 8s from a single bag.

If this is the case, it is pretty bad not to state it publicly, although they could behind the fact that they did not necessarily state the odds and we simply assumed them.

Could we get a statement on this possibly added to the patch notes? I think people would be happier receiving what they expect when the purchase the keys even if it is less than what they currently believe.

Well it would be better without those bags if I got another booster or black lion stuff.
This is just making less profit from using those keys on those chests. Also from 10 chests I got 6 bags out of them. High chance to get them, but low chance to get nice coins from them.
