I’ve tried creating several new characters, but every time a character reaches level 30 I become unable to sell certain items on the Black Lion Trading Post. These are all items I could sell before, such as unused weapons and crafting materials. When I right click on the item or open the TP to try to sell them, the option to sell them disappears. I have HoT and I have two other characters that don’t have this problem. I’ve made two warriors in one week trying to avoid this problem, and it’s happened both times when I reach level 30. I don’t know what’s happening and I don’t know how to fix it because it doesn’t seem like anyone else is having this problem.

So you can sell the weapon at lvl 29 but not 30?

Are you sure its not the level up rewards your trying to sell?
All you can do with those are use or destroy

During the levelling process, some items – rewards from the levelling process – are not salvagable or sellable on the trading post. This is similar to, eg, some karma purchased gear items not being salvagable.

I strongly suspect that this is what is happening to you: to verify, attempt to salvage the item. If it is not salvagable, it’s definitely one of those few items.

Another possibility is if you are using “invisible” bags — items in these bags cannot be sold until moved to some other type of bag. (Sometimes people forget that they are using invisible bags.)
