I I’m regularly getting an error where the Gold from sold item doesn’t appear in the pick up tab.

I’ve sold a Super Shield Skin for 7G and never saw the gold. A month or so ago I sold a exotic great sword for 5G with the same result.

I opened a tick in the web site and in-game. The response to the site ticket was suspiciously pre-made looking saying to open an in-game ticket and a forum topic.

Here’s what I want to know:

1- Will I ever see the GOLD?

2- Whats being done to fix this?

I’m usually not that attentive to my sold item in black lion trading post but I cant help but wonder if I’ve lost anymore currency and if I should keep selling high priced item knowing that I might never see neither the item or the Gold.

Have you checked your Items for Sale under My Transactions in the TP to see if they are still listed there?

They are listed and the sell price is correct. just no gold on the pick up tab,

So what’s preventing you from removing your for sale item(s) and/or try reselling them again? To me I do not see this is a bug. I normally see such items I thought sold, but later didn’t actually go through. Or are you saying you are getting some sort of error every time you try to sell something?

Which begs to wonder if there is actual a limit on number of items you can have for sale at any one time. If there is, then I’d try removing all those for sale items then see if that resolves such errors. (Too lazy to check wiki to see if the answer is listed there. :-)

Sigh. Just checked wiki — all it says is “You are limited in how many items you can list for sale in a short period of time.”

Is it listed in the items I am selling part or the items I have sold part?

Its listed on the “item I’ve sold” tab. So the item is gone and the gold is not in the pick up tab.

I just actually had this bug.. I thought I was losing my mind but I knew I definitely had little gold in there. What I did was removed an item I was buying and the correct gold was there..

It happened to me too and my gold is still missing even when i buy something and remove it

I have been having this issue as well, and my ballpark estimate for gold lost is approaching 50g. It seems to happen most often with high-frequency sales (which is a huge source of income for me), though I’ve seen it (i.e. tracked and confirmed that I never received payment) even on days where I sell only a few items.

I’ve also noticed that the game periodically “loses track” of the items you list. For example, say I list 1000 of a specific item at varying prices between 1.2s and 1.5s. Despite my 1.2s items never selling, I might find that listing at 1.5s does not state “items will be added to existing sale”, even when I’m certain that the current stack of items selling at 1.5s is much less than 250. I don’t know if this is related or not, but it’s certainly frustrating regardless.

Finally, it appears that server/character rollbacks, e.g. one that just happened on NSP (or maybe for multiple people, not just me), may result in lost gold. I had retrieved ~1.5g from the TP shortly before being booted due to the client’s inability to connect to the login server; when I logged back in, I was rolled back and no longer had that extra 1.5g in my inventory, but the money also does not show on the TP.

ANet: please consider implementing better validation for TP transactions. It’s unacceptable for transactions to fail to provide money, or for withdrawals to be lost due to login bugs.

It was part of the mini crash we just had. It kept saying, “Sorry! Blah blah.”

I probably ended up buying 20 orichalcum ore when I only wanted 2 pieces to replace the ruined ore due to this kitten that’s going on..

I just lost a rare item and 20+ Ecto’s to this -__- ….No fun to see this happen, esp. after working hard for Ecto’s, just to see them vanish
