Black lion mining pick is broken
I’m sorry the rich ori vein was busted for you. However, why do you think it has anything to do with the BL pick? Sounds more like a coincidence to me. (I’ve used the BL harvesting tools on rich veins and veggie farms without seeing an issue.)

Same thing happened to me in Malchor’s Leap with the rich mithral vein in the NW corner of the zone. Ehmry Bay server (not sure if that’s important). I specifically equipped the BL picks and went there because the previous day I’d run out of picks and couldn’t hit the vein. Frustrating, right? Moreso when you go back with high expectations because you’re lucky enough to have received the BL picks from a BL chest. Then one “kitten!” and the “rich node” is done.
I have experianced both of these issues, however, I experiance it with the ori picks.
From what I can tell is, you get 1 hit on the vien when you hit it just around the time it should respawn, try waiting 10-20 minutes and then check it, the vien should be there if not wait a little bit longer thats what I have always done.
for the rich mithril, last time I had that happen was when I went to farm the vien, then my net died, I did not fully farm it, and got back to it the other day, it should have reset, but it did not it seems that you will not get a reset unless you fully farm the vien.

LOL! I used an onomonopeia to describe the mining pick sound, and it got replaced by the word “kitten!”
