Guild Wars 2

Bit of a wierd glitch this, but when I try and sell something on the black lion, it tells me I cannot as I am on a trial account, unless I click the upgrade to a full account button (which is not on my screen).

I’m not on a trial account, I never have been and have had the game since ~Nov last year.

Anyone else getting this?

Got this, so did my friend, then the disconnect came.

Ah ok, glad its not only me, hopefully it’ll be fixed after they sort the disconnection problems out.

Got this too, i can’t buy/sell. Before last patch was ok.

trial accounts can’t buy/sell on the TP? wtf?

Probably protects the economy from any random spikes from new players wanting things/ people milking them dry/ protects against crashes.

Bit of a weird webserver behind it.. Sometimes i get message: your not authorized.. When i re-open it there is no problem

for me it solved itself after I was able to log back into the servers.

I didn’t have this problem 11 days ago. I have it today. I logged out and back in but that didn’t help.

No i’m not on a trial account. I pre-ordered the game over a year ago and having been selling an buying without a problem until half an hour ago.

Same with me. I logged on and been playing for a few hours farming and selling. Suddenly I need a full account when I’ve had this game for months. I thought it was a bug so I logged out for 5 minutes and re-entered but I still get told to upgrade my account. If logging out doesn’t work, does that mean we will have to wait until the free week is over until we can sell again?

Same issue here after 3 attempts to fix by re-logging in. I bought the game at a brick an mortar store on LAUNCH day a year ago so a full account from day one. Sold earlier today in game no problem suddenly I cant sell anything and have to “upgrade” my account???? Come on Anet….

This is rather annoying. It’s like my CE version of this game got nullified on the spot. Do have any answer if their working on a fix?

Ditto on this bug and Gear Boxes have no name anymore and linking them in chat displays Japanese or Chinese characters.

Also having the bug. Relogging does nothing for me. Guess someone forgot to change the system to update the “free user” tag in their databases when someone actually bought it in the past

same issue here tried switching servers,relogging,create new character…. but to no avail just hope they fix this soon i guess….ive had this game since its release

Im having this issue as well, quite bizarre since i was selling stuff just a few hours ago, ive relogged in about 5 times, deleted the stuff in the temp folder and restarted my pc, to no avail, please sort this asap.

Same here. Tried everything, including restarting. Still treats me as a trial account when trying to place an order onTP.

Aye, same. Relogging doesn’t help and trades completed / offers canceled don’t bring any gold to pickup window.

Basically losing money every second, unless you actually manage to track what’s happening and (re)fund after the kitten is taken care of.

Same problem here. It seems to affect only EU accounts as well, from what I gather in-game.

Same problem for me, this is the second time in 3 days. I’ll try to re-log Hope everithing will be fixed!

It has vanished 550 gold because the buy order i deleted didnt return the gold. Same happens for aborted sell orders – the items vanish.

Same here, it was working fine before I now can’t sell anything. It advises I need to upgrade to a full account despite already having one for over a year.

Leaving the game and then restarting it solved the problem for me.

EDIT: Problem there again after teleporting into Black Citadel.

I’m guessing it has something to do with it being the 1st September – the Support Link from the Guildwars website gripes about it’s certificate having expired when it tries to load the support web page.

I’m guessing someone forgot to check the routine when they changed the ‘age’ command to see what happens on the first day of a new month :P

Same problem [EU Player on US Server – JQ] cannot sell.

Left the game and restarted several times now. Still unable to use the tp. The problem started right at the time when champion boxes dropped during an invasion started showing their name in chinese.

EDIT: EU player on EU server… Are there any non-EU players affected?

This problem still persists , re-logging does nothing , can we get a hotfix please ? We cannot use the trading post at all…

Same issue here, tried relogging, changing the langauge , launch as admin, tried a different pc. Still got the issue. Ps: just to make clear i don’t have a trail account just got my Bday Boosters two days ago :p
