Guild Wars 2

Since update today, its happened a few times now, screen just goes black.. and nothing.. not even a crash notifacation.. the game is still playing in the background.. can hear the game fine.. just black screen.. need to end task on it and start it again.. this only happened since update today.. and worked fine.. PC is brand new.. only 3 months old, nothing else really on the machine except gw’s

Anyone else experiencing this?

It’s happened to me several times and my sister at least once. I don’t have to end task b/c I don’t have it fullscreen and it closes just fine. The weird thing is I can pull up the options screen but everything else is just black

This happened to me every other day sometimes. It on occasion crashes my comp. Its a new comp and id like to make a theory to say that when i went into Win 8.1: my grapics driver reset into something different.

I tried to update my driver but the source cannot provide me with needed version

Same thing been happening to me…. but sadly I’m not able to close the game because my screen just goes all fuzzy or something similar to TV static & I have to turn it off manually, I thought it could be my GPU overheating but I’ve been monitoring it and its always under 70 ºC, I’m a graphic designer & this has never happened with Adobe or any other game, so I’m sure is something wrong with GW2.

Right now I’m reinstalling it to see if it helps.

By the way I think this topic should be in Tech Support, if any moderator reads this… please help us!

Oh & all my drivers are up to date.

Still having this problem after re-installing GW2, prolly will stop playing until Anet notices it
