Riverdrake Broodmother hero point is bugged. After googling a bit I’ve read several posts that show it being bugged 1, 2 and 4 years ago. Has Anet ever fixed it? Or is it a case of them fixing these bugged hero points but then they break again after a patch?
Why do you think it’s bugged? I know people who have finished map completions recently, which should be impossible if it’s bugged.
There are lots of reports (even in these forums) about alleged bugs that turn out to be old news, user error, misunderstandings, or otherwise not actual bugs. (And sure, more than a few bugs, too.)
Please be more specific about what you’re seeing (or not seeing) and perhaps link some of the other posts you’ve seen, to compare.

I have personally done map completion in that zone recently; if this is broken, it is not universally broken, and you will need to supply more information about what the problem you see is, and how you have tried to cause it to start.
I did it a few weeks back. It’s only partially bugged; the broodmother does not aggro immediately when you press F, but she does trigger eventually when you’ve annoyed her enough.
