The maximum amount of players per map seems to vary greatly with different instances of the Megaserver map in Bloodtide. On one run last week, we counted about 170 players in our group for the Great Wurm. On a run the other day, we could barely get 115 to 120 players in. I assumed that there could be AFKers or other people/guilds on the same map, so before the event started, some of us went to different areas on the map to scout. We ran into the occasional AFKer here and there (maybe 6 total), but nowhere near the 50 player difference from past runs.

In addition to that, the Crimson Wurm bugged out, and one of our groups was able to burn the final 25% of his HP in Phase 1 in a few seconds. This resulted in a failed event, as the other two groups weren’t ready to decap their Wurms. Not sure if this scaling bug is related to the map cap bug we encountered, or if this is a result of the Mesmer Feedback bug.

or if this is a result of the Mesmer Feedback bug.

What does it have to do? From what I heard the issue with Feedback only happens with wurm at Caledon Forest (sorry if it also happens at Bloodtide, I may be uninformed). Also, as I said in other thread, that skill isn’t the issue. The issue lays in the wurm.

I’m curious where the Devs said what the map cap was. Is it a variable number? Or is it 150, as I’ve heard that number all over the forums lately? Or did people just assume that (150) ever since the Destruction of LA and taking down the three Scarlet minions required 50 people each max?
