Guild Wars 2

All of my other Ascended gear, and all of my other backslot items are unlocked in the Wardrobe panel, but my Book of Secrets is not. After unequipping it, then right-clicking, there was no option to unlock the skin.

I am also having this problem. Koss on Koss has the same skin, but it is another 80+ gold to make from scratch and i don’t need the soldier stats from the other book, 80 gold is a lot to spend for a skin that i SHOULD all ready have.

Hopefully Dev’s see this and can address the problem, having the book or quiver is one of the rarer, more prestigious back skins to have and i would like to be able to display it on other toons.

I’ve had the same happen with the Tome of the Rubicon. Created it in MF, no skin unlocked. What really angers me is that I’ve sent in 2 tickets and nothing was solved. First time, they had no answer. Second time, they essentially redirected me to the forums. I’m now really angry and hope they do something about this SOON.

Don’t all of the Ascended book backpieces have the same armor skin? (Their icons are different, but their skin on your character when equipped is the same?)

Or am I misinterpreting what’s the issue here?

Tome of the Rubicon and Koss on Koss share a model/skin with Tome of Forgotten Lore; maybe that is the issue.

Having the same problem hopefully they fix this soon really would love to keep my money and not have to make another, makes no sense that you cant unlock it :/

No. they have identical skins, but they are named differently. Perhaps they intended at one point for each of them to look differently (as woudl the icons suggest).
