Guild Wars 2

Hi,

So I was crafting and saw this Boost Enchantment Powder in my bank. I take out xp booster, so my inventory now looks like:

(3) Experience Boosters
(4) Boost Enchantment Powder

I double-click the powder and… it opens gem store?! I saw on youtube that in June 2014 that it’s supposed to convert my xp booster into Enchanted Reward Boost, which I was then hoping to turn into the crafting one.

So is this item broken? What can I do with it now :o

Anyways, I used some Boost Enchantment Powder just two days ago on some might boosters and it worked and they didn’t change any policy afaik.

Are you using it on the blue(fine) rarity Experience booster? Powder won’t work on the green(masterwork) one.

Try right clicking on them and clicking use. else moving 2/3 of the boosters to your bank.

My guess is the game thinks that there are no boosters in your inventory and is opening the gem store for you to buy some.

If you’re trying to use it on the rare boosters (yellow text) then it doesn’t work, because the enchantment powder experience boosters last 1/3 of the time as the full boosters.

Westwater, so you’re saying yes, the item is broken/useless? then I will start a bug ;P

(btw, the gem store xp booster has the exact same text as my xp booster, so it’s probably the same item)

Boost Enchantment Powder seems broken. I attempt to open it to target the xp booster but instead the gem store opens.

to use the powder. The powder is for the old boosters that where around before the new boosters that just recently came out.

As pointed out in the other thread, the item is working as intended: it goes with the old (masterwork) boosters; the new (rare) ones are already “enchanted”

Since the powders only work on the combat boosters we get from black lion chests and there’s a vendor to exchange them for the enchanted boosters….perhaps can we stop getting the powders in black lion chests?
