I don’t know if you’re trying to scam me out of my Christmas money for your game, but when I purchase a game, and not be a F2Per, I expect my money to be put to good use. I am locked out of half the things I need to do for my character. I can’t trade with anybody, can’t send mail to anybody, can’t buy any kind of items from anybody or any trade merchant, and I am playing with my Fiance who introduced me to the game and we’re grouping up, both started at level 1 [because I just bought the game today], and we’re not even gaining XP together nor are we able to complete quests together. What the [censored] is going on here??

As stated, there is a 5-day period where the account is vetted, before many features are unlocked. Other features may not unlocked until certain plateaus of play have been reached. This happens to every account, whether previously Play4Free, or otherwise.
