Guild Wars 2

So there is an Event close to the entrance that leads into this area from Metrica Province. It says “Protect the skritt thieves(?) while they steal lab equipment”.

There are 4 Skritt thieves (maybe they are called something else, not thieves, but i can’t remember) that are standing in the Inquest Lab and are supposed to steal the equipment, but they just don’t. They just keep standing there and doing nothing other than fighting back once the Inquest attacks them.

When the Inquest is dead, the Skritts just go back to the same place where they were standing before and just stare, not steal anything.

There were like 10 players other than me there and we all waited to do the Event, but it didn’t move at all, the Skritt seemed to be bugged.

I encountered this same thing this morning. I also cannot recall the exact name, but it was something along the lines of “protect the Skritt scavengers(?) as they steal the golem equipment”. I tried clearing the area, talking to the skritt, and anything else I could think of to trigger the event, but had no luck. The event never seems to move forward.

Yesterday multiple players still reported the issue in the game.

Lot of issues in this zone. The Skrit city area… all the gate quests are bugged and you cannot progress to the inside of the mountain.
