Guild Wars 2

I just picked up HoT after not playing for years. I was into the instanced part of the story quest but I waypointed out to go help a friend figuring I’d just start it over later. I’m probably just missing something but I can’t figure out how to get where the quest marker is pointing. I’ve tried quitting the chapter and restarting but to no avail.

Am I blind or is it bugged?

There is a small area where the marker is located. The door is a bit to the right of the main entrance into Amber.

Thank you so much! It was all covered in noxious gas so I didn’t think I could get in anywhere.
