I completed the HoT story on my main.

I searched on ‘Cal’ in her bags and the bank, and don’t see the item.

Looking at the item on the wiki and seeing it is rare, I most likely salvaged it.

Miyani does not have the option that Dulfy says should be there to create the sword again.

I am not going to run that story step again.

How do I get a GM to make me one, or support to send me one in the mail?

Are you trying to talk to her on your main and did you activate latest chapter in LS? Also only Miyani in LA counts.

Talk to the npc in your home instance and it should give you the option to speak to miyani afterwards.

1. At Miyani in LA.

2. This is the ‘only’ character that has completed the entire HoT story. Happy to provide screen shot of any relevant completed achievement for verification.

I have made it to the steps where I give the Vision Crystal to the NPC in my home instance. However, I think I salvaged the Broken Caladbolg that I got from Miyani when I started. Is there a way to get another one? She’s not letting me right now.

Having a somewhat similar problem. Only mine is I had soulbound the original to a character that hasn’t done the Heart & Mind instance and had to delete it. Then had to purchase another from Miyani and now I can’t purchase another because Ridhais took the second one. If she has it then it should automatically allow progression. If not, Miyani should allow for another purchase if the player has triggered both collections, at least in my opinion.

Also if you have gotten to the step of giving her the vision crystal then there is no need for the broken caladbolg anymore.

She just gives me information about Caladbolg and herself. Despite having the vision crystal on my person.

Have you done the Shards of a Thorn collection?

I’ve done both collections, have the vision crystal. Everything else is as I explained up above. Had to delete Caladbolg, got a second from Miyani, it was removed from my inventory via Ridhais, did the collections/vision crystal gathering, now I can’t progress because I can’t get a third version.

Odd, I only needed one Broken Caladbolg for the entire quest, including acquiring all the skins.

Are you trying to create another weapon, or just the first weapon? You should only need a second (or third) Broken Caladbolg (acquired via Hearts and Minds on a different character) to create another actual weapon.

Anyone having any trouble with getting the other versions of the sword? I have 3 toons that have finished HoT and have the broken sword for each. I completed the whole quest and got my sword on my Rev first (awesome btw). Now I’m working on my Guardian. Got all the way up and completed the 1st vision. Went back to my home city to get the location for the 2nd vision, but she won’t give it to me. She still says I have to get the spiritwood scion, which I did complete.

I went back to the place of the 1st vision (just in case I was wrong) and there is no instance star anymore. I went to the 2nd vision anyway thinking it might be there…and there is no instance star there either.

So I’m stuck in between the 2 visions and I’m not sure how to fix this.

Suggestions?

You can only get 1 from the collection. You will need to craft the other item for additional Ascended Weapon(s), as well.

Ahhhh. Thank you Inculpatus. That would be the reason why… I didn’t know you had to craft new ones… I though that was too easy for a Legendary. HA!

Dulfy really needs to update her walk-through, so players would no be so confused and think they need the Broken Caladbolg when they return.
