Fix the game. NO ONE creating a new Norn character can get past the starting area. This is bullkitten.

You need to give details about what exactly is happening and what map IP it is happening on, otherwise no one can help you.

I created a norn at the weekend, ankitten ow level 35 in HaRath. Where is the issue for.you we will help you.

from what i remember you talk to a norn in the camp,go and hunt down 1 out of 3 beasts, return back with the trophy to the norn, then you start off at the gate of the stairway up the hill to fight the giant wurm..

IF someone is already attacking the wurm the gate will be closed and youll wait with some npcs and other players for the people killing the wurm to finish him off.

Its the same thing in human starting zone. You wait at one side of the garrison while the other people kill the earth elemental boss on the other side of the garrison. Once the earth elemental is killed they go to the normal world,the gates of garrison open and youre free to progress.

Unless you are talking about something else that prevents you from progressing which you aren’t mentioning..i cant help you

I just ran a character through the level one area successfully. The only thing I had to wait for was the doors to open, and it had me do the beast fight events that are just to the side of the doors while I waited. All systems go for me, at least.

I think I know why its broken. Last night (about 24h ago) I started a Norn character and used the free lvl 20 gift item thing I had in my bag (I think its for having the game for a year or something). I was lvl 20 in the starting area basically, then I bought lvl 20 equipment, in the end I was lvl 20 with lvl 20 gear in the starting area.

I started the event, killing everything in one shot. I arrived at the blue worm and killed it in one shot too…. then nothing happened. I think it died too fast, I then jumped down the mountain and just logged off. I relogged later on realizing that in my story I am at “be victorious in the great hunt” stage (“accompany Eir on the great hunt” is completed) and the door is shut.

My theory is that I unintentionally bugged the worm and its stuck in my “fight” forever. I am on the other side of the door now since i jumped down the mountain. I am sorry everyone, it was unintentional. Maybe i should have done the event before using the free lvl 20 item.
