It happens when interrupted while stomping. I’ve seen it numerous times in PvP. There is something like a light that goes up with the character usually and when interrupted, the character stays on place, but the light still goes trough the motion. This is often confusing especially in cased with lots of people around or for example with the Ranger trait when he becomes invisible on interrupt.
