Guild Wars 2

Hello, while working on a couple of my characters between yesterday and today, I’ve noticed that this skin – https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bloodstone_Visage_Skin – wouldn’t show in the preview window.

I’ve tried checking it on 2 of my characters the past 48 hours, but nothing. I’ve even asked fellow guildies if they can preview it, they said no. I also asked map chat, and got the same response.

Anyways, I hope it can get fixed as it’s a nice skin. Cheers.

Sometimes, that skin is affected by graphic settings. You might try changing Shaders and/or Textures/Post-Processing.

Just a thought.

Edit: Went in-game and tried it, from both the Hero Panel and the Bank…no go, no matter the settings. It is, indeed, borked. Hopefully, fixed soon. =)

yep the preview is broken, just like nightfury and winter’s presence are. might be a thing with previewing effects. came in with the latest patch.

This is indeed a bug that was introduced with the 4/18 patch. It seems to impact any skin which provides a “special effect,” for lack of a better description: the elementalist starter helms, Karka Helm, Bloodstone Visage, Winter’s Presence, and Nightfury. I posted it here.

It is likely related to the other issue with the wardrobe/preview functionality introduced with the 4/18 patch; removing one skin from a preview removes all others.
