Guild Wars 2

I post here hoping someone can answer to my dilemma. Basically I did the Weyandt’s Revenge jumping puzzle at least 3 times in the last few days and every time I get to the end of the puzzle I get the chest, the merchant but the achievement doesn’t unlock… The third time I followed a guide step by step on the wiki, in case I was missing something, but apparently I did everything right. Does anyone has the same issue? Thank you!

Some JPs trigger achievements by opening the chest, however several trigger it when you walk over a certain spot. After you cross the dark room and jump into the final pool of water, try zig-zagging your way towards the chest, to make sure you cross whatever threshold the game is expecting you to do.

(I’m not sure why you mentioned a merchant — there’s a karma vendor, but he’s far outside the cave and nowhere near anywhere you need to be for the achievement. If you are using a ‘shortcut’ to reach the chest and pass him first, you won’t pass the trigger spot.)

As far as I know, just opening the chest should trigger the achievement. If you’ve checked your achievements and still see it’s not unlocked, then make a support ticket to see what they can do about it. Take screenshots of you in the JP, and especially at the end, and of your achievements panel.
