The NPC “Tzark” will often get stuck on thin air near a wall or pillar on the part when you are first turned into ghosts and have to kill the 4 graveling mounds.

If this happens, you cannot progress any further in the dungeon as he will not open the blocked tunnel to kill the final boss.

The only way around this is to exit and redo the entire dungeon again.

Please do not post suggestions on how to “get around” this, we’ve tried wp the team and all manner of skills/utilities to no avail. Please instead post your support if you have experienced this bug, so we can hopefully generate enough interest to get this resolved.

This is a long overdue bug that needs to be fixed, it’s that simple.

Some more information on how this bug occurs would be useful. I’ve done AC lots of times now (enough for me to complete the Ascalon Catacombs collection), but I’ve never encountered this particular bug.

I’ve had this happen several times and it is quite annoying. I’m guessing that Tzark gets knocked back into a column getting him stuck there. Absolutely nothing works to fix this bug. I’ve bug reported it in game each time it has happened, so they have the game log info about it somewhere, it’s just a matter of tracking down how to stop it from happening.

Maybe make Tzark immune to knockback or something.

With so many patches out over the months and an expansion announced, is there any consideration for annoying bugs like this? Had this occur again today and seems like a waste of time doing this dungeon that has been bugged for months.

Just had Tzark bug out again in that final Hall. We ran as a compact group when killing the burrows and did nothing to ptompt him bugging as far as i can see.

He didn’t even get killed. Just standing to the side mid way down the Hall, stationary and inactive.

Just searching Tzark in this bugs forum brings up numerous threads on this. What gives, has there ever been feedback from Anet that they are aware of this longstanding bug? Cos it’s kinda a big deal, not being able to complete the dungeon having cleared everything but the final boss.

This bug is here to stay. Its like this from Day 1 .. all i can say is try to slow down a bit while killing the burrows … and Tzark will focus/follow one player .. this player need to pay attention and check if Tzark is following .. doing the dungeon at lightspeed don’t help …also on this path you really should wait for the NPC to end the conversation before completing the next step or the NPC will glitch.

Using Reliquary Waypoint before the conversation between Tzark and Warmaster Grast is finished is asking for trouble.

kitten. Thanks for the reply. Yea, I waited at the chest while the rest teleported, to prevent that bug. And then when tzark wasnt there, I wandered back down the hall to find him.

That is sad new. Cos this is one annoying bug and i don’t see how to prevent it as i did that section while being very mindful of the risks. Of which, i didn’t see any. And it still bugged.

which one of you had Tzark aggro ? you waiting at the chest or someone else who already ported to Reliquary Waypoint ? Also wait for Tzark to come in the main room before talking to Warmaster Grast and activate the burrows or Tzark will stay somewhere with the Spiders and die/glitch/birds watching.

There is work around for this bug, you need agro a spider from previous room and pull him slowly to Tzark.
The spider will try to reset his agro but if you make few steps as he start channeling his poison attack then he move closer to you.
After that when he re-agro on Tzark it should fix it self.
