Attuning ascended rings is bugged. Some rings don’t show up in the mystic forge when I want to attune them, like my non-infused crystaline band, even though they are in my inventory. Others do but they grey out when I select an agonized essence, a philosopher’s stone or an agony infusion, all of them required to attune the ring.
Also, I managed to attune an infused ring of red death that had been sitting in my bank for a long time and its name changed to “Attuned Bagh Nakh”.

I suspect that using an infusion extraction device before attuning them could be the reason why the don’t even show up in the MF. This is pure especulation though.

They don’t show up because they are older or perhaps because they were at some point equppied at some point. It’s not because of using the extraction tho. I had no issues using rings that j had never equipped and were probably less than 3 months old.

I managed to attuned an old ring as I said in my post. Also on reddit players are reporting that they can’t attune rings that they previously had used an infusion extraction device on. So don’t be so quick to rule out any possible causes.
