Guild Wars 2

So I got these off the gem store yesterday. Picked them up on my toon I was playing at the time and double clicked them. I had to log off so I didn’t have a look till today but they are not showing up in my home instance. I checked on 2 of my toons both human but nothing. I have the candy cane nod and krate shard. But not the bronze gold and silver nodes. Anyone else having this problem?

I had this problem when they first came out, I used them on a Human and noticed they didn’t appear in my Norn home instance but they did in my Human instance. Today I was playing my Sylvari and saw them in that home instance but I haven’t tested the norn. I suggest submitting a bug report, it’s a lot faster than waiting for a response on the forum.

Make sure the item that creates the nodes isn’t in the bank. If your bank happened to be open when you double-clicked it, it would ‘disappear’ into the bank.

I was out in the world when I did it. I’ve not checked my norn or Charr alts. I’ll have a look later. I’ve submitted a bug report in game. I was just wondering if this was a common bug or not.

If I had the ability to add screenshots I would have done so but I am not on my gamesystem now. Here are the locations where they SHOULD be:

For the Norn Instance, make sure you sweep the entire area as the basic nodes are WAY off on the other side. (Please reposition them, without swiftness you need a about minute to reach them)

The Charr nodes should be to the righthand side when you enter. Closeby, probably the closest to your spawnpoint upon entering from all instances.

The Human nodes should be on the LEFT side behind a house, not like the Crystal and Candycane nodes on the right side.

I have no knowledge about the Asuran and Sylvari locations.
At least check the Norn, Charr and Human nodes if you haven’t found them yet. (and add locations for the other 2 races if you know them)

Haven’t found your nodes? Check your emails (delete old emails)/bags/bank for an item to use that makes them spawn. Still no nodes or no item in your posession to spawn them? Then yes this is bugged for you.

I’ve checked the Charr and Norn this morning. I didnt check the far side I thought they would have been by the candy cane. I’ve checked the toon I got the mail on and it not in the inventory or in my bank. I’ll try deleting the mails. But I can’t see that working as I know I had it in my inventory as I got some BLK’s at the same time and she had them on her. So I’m guessing its a bug and I’ll have to wait for support to get back to me.

And you’ve run through the whole instance? in the Norn instance, which is sort of U-shapes, it’s at the other side of the hall.

Remember, they show up on your mini-map, if they are present. Easy to find where they are in the instance that way. =)

As I said I didn’t check the whole norn home. I’ll have a look when I get a chance. But this really should not be happening.

Yeah they are not showing up on my mini map. The only one that is in my candy corn node.

UP DATE:

They have now appeared in all my home instances. And on the mini maps. Maybe it was because I got it on the weekend. shrug.
