Guild Wars 2

Today, I went in “The Durmand Prior” instance and happen to see a strange icon on top of an NPC (Historian Tranton). I’ve talked to Tranton and received “Burden of Choice” achievement. I was puzzled. Saw a closed door and an option to open the door was given. I opened the door and saw “Ogden” (the GW1 NPC) and was surprised and curios. He also has the icon on top of his head like the previous NPC. I talked to Ogden. I believe Ogden then gave me, Broken Shadowstone. After I left the instance, an email was sent to me, instructing me to talk to an NPC (“Tradesman Maezz”) in Lion’s Arch. I went and talk to Tradesman Maezz and he said:

“You’ve made your allegiances clear, bookah. If you want to buy any of my krait oil you’ll have to pay extra.” The only option is “Fine” and “Bye.” First option show me “Bottle of Refined Krait Oil”. The cost is 5gold. I was confused. I do some wiki and I found out that Maezz was suppose to talk to me about a special offer and trade my “Broken Shadowstone” with his “Reforged Shadowstone”. But I do not have any other option. Now I am stuck with “Broken Shadowstone” and a fully completed “Burden of Choice” that has ALL the checked-mark. Tier 6/6 of 10/10 objectives.

I think Tranton gave me “Broken Shadowstone” and Ogden gave me “Burden of Choice”. I kinda forgot the order. But my point is that I can’t progress as the achievement is done and I have “Broken Shadowstone”. What can I do? I don’t know how to submit a ticket to have this fixed.

There’s nothing more to do. The ‘story’ stops there. Perhaps, some day, the ‘Current Events’ will have more content for this ‘story’, but that’s all there is, right now.

I am supposed to obtain or be given Reforged Shadowstone, NOT Broken Shadowstone.

It really makes no difference what you end up with. They are just Trophies that have no use. The only ‘reward’ is Achievement Points.

If you feel it necessary, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link. They may be able to send you one, you can keep in your inventory or bank, or delete.
