[Bug] Last Stand - ruining materials
Thanks for the report. Although Last Stand does interrupt the gathering animation when it activates, it doesn’t interrupt the harvesting process so you’re still getting the correct amount of loot from the resource node (easiest to tell if you disable autoloot, though you will see items popping up above the minimap anyhow). So feel free to keep harvesting with this trait if you don’t mind the animation bug too much.
I have had an issue where when harvesting, I will get attacked, enter combat, and draw my weapon, which causes my harvesting tools to fail to harvest nodes. This will result in ruined ore chunks and ruined logs, and has been around since forever. The problem is easiest to reproduce if you are out of combat, then get hit by an enemy while harvesting.
I know that a little while ago it was said that ruined ore/wood from harvesting was normal if you were in combat

We’re getting the correct amount of loot as you say, Dan, but we’re getting it ruined. What’s the point of using a skill that protects you from control skills to be able to harvest safely, if it’s ruining the materials as result?
I’ve heard about the issue before, but experiencing with Last Stand makes it 100% of ruined materials since activation, so it’s easy to spot.
