As said in the title, Scarlet’s Invasion has just now announcement the incorrect location of the current invasion location. “Scarlet’s Minions are attacking Mount Maelstrom.”

Well its not there. Checking the other maps, its actually in Sparkfly Fen. Thus as a result of the misinformation, there is no one at the invasion, even on the servers I usually guest to for them, Jade Quarry and Tarnished Coast.

I remember this being a problem a few times back during Clockwork Chaos. With the pop up saying it was in Blazeridge Steppes, but was actually somewhere else.

Was an overflow involved?

I don’t know, but does scarlet attack all worlds at once, striking the same zone? I ask because I’ve seen scarlet announcements in overflow.

It attacks all servers at the same time, on the same map, regardless of overflow, NA or EU servers, ect.

It sounds to me like the order of Whispers is off the ball, not only not giving advance notice of the attacks, but declaring them for the wrong zone! Methinks they have a mole! And I’m not referring to the dredge either…

Seriously, I’m surprised the vigil hasn’t called them to task about these intel failures.

On a note more appropriate to the forum, has anyone else noticed any errors like this? Or was it just a one-time thing?

I have seen it a time or 2. It said it was in Timberline, but was actually in Blazeridge for example. Not often at all, but it does happen.

Its wrong pretty much most of the time these days. I rarely remember seeing her invade the map that the in-game popup said she was on. The inconsistency is always same too, for example Mount Maelstrom = Sparkfly Fen. Honestly it looks like some kind of programming off-by-one or look-up table error.
