Another thing that i noticed, if you split a stack, and try to put it back, you cant. the new stack wont stack with the old stack.

Great thing that there is a workaround.
But there is one more thing which would be really nice if it’s fixed: The Experience Scrolls from the 1st and 2nd character anniversary don’t stack.

Yeah, I just submitted a formal bug report on exactly that. I thought it only happened (sometimes) when you acquired the additional items from multiple sources. Instead, it seems to affect any set of items that is split while more of the same item is available elsewhere (another toon, the bank, etc).

Not that it helps us, but I wonder what they changed in the item inventory data and stacking mechanics that could create such a weird bug.

Same here really! Then again, alot of the data seems to be messed up at the moment, so who really knows what happen!

I have just hit 25,000 achievement points. Excitedly, I opened the achievement reward chest and began carefully putting away my rewards.

Mystic Forge Stones….don’t stack
Karma Boosters….don’t stack
Experience Boosters….don’t stack
Magic Find Boosters….don’t stack

The +20 level scroll will not stack with either the first birthday scrolls or the second birthday scrolls, which are already unstackable with each other.

In addition to the above I also have one single total makeover kit that will not stack with the others.

This needs to end. Are you only doing this to force players into buying more bank tabs if they want to keep hold of their loot? It’s either that or carelessness. Neither is acceptable.

I have turned my non-stacking boosters into the generic enchanted reward boosts, but I cannot do anything to ease the additional inventory slots that your in-game items continue to needlessly occupy.

I’m waiting for Heart of Thorns now which will undoubtedly bring Mithril that doesn’t stack with other Mithril.

Place any ‘Account Bound on Acquire’ items in inventory and change maps/log out. They will become ‘Account Bound’, and stack with other items.

This works for most items.

Oh…reading a bit more of your…..post….this is not a deliberate action but a bug introduced in the recent patch.

Repeatedly reported and acknowledged issue in the bugs forum since last update.

Known workaround until it is fixed on their end is for you to place the "Account Bound on Acquire” version of the item into your inventory and then change maps or exit to character select and then log that character in again. Doing either of these actions causes the bugged “Account Bound on Acquire” versions to be replaced with the proper “Account Bound” version that you can then stack normally with your other “Account Bound” items.

Sadly, birthday scrolls are not included in this fix as those are intentionally(?) made to be different items and unstackable.

I’ve noticed that there seems to be a bug where certain items of the same type won’t stack. So far I’ve noticed Total Makeover Kits, Boxes o’ Fun, Blade Shards, Pristine Fractal Relics, and Communal Bonfire. Feel free to add others if you know of them.

It’s a bug affecting all account bound items. Take the items into your inventory, change maps or log out, and then log back in. You’ll be able to stack them then.

I have some Account bound Items that don’t stack.

They look the same, but in the description, there is a slight difference.

One will have: Account Bound
The other will have: Account Bound on Acquire

Is it possible to get this sorted?
I am now using 2 slots in my bank for items with this problem.

I put every thing I had in my bank that say ‘Account Bound on Acquire’ into my inventory, changed map and hey presto, all now say ‘Account Bound’

All now stack.

Yay!

I am finding this with a number of items. Just got a black lion ticket scrap and one of them (or the pile it is in) says account bound on acquire the other(s) just say account bound. I can change the numbers in each pile by splitting but always end up with one left over no matter what. Had this on a number of other items inc experience scrolls. Nice waste of storage space.

Have you placed the ‘Account Bound on Acquire’ items in your inventory and changed maps/logged out? If so, the problem should be solved.

Although they look the same, they don’t stack.

I had this problem several times now (boosters, pristine relics, scrolls of knowledge and the “box of fun” today). On one occasion I had to change maps twice to be able to merge them.
I hope they fix it soon

The boosters from my 10k-AP box do not stack with the boosters in my bank.
now i have either a cluttered inventory or a cluttered bank.
not very good.

Hey. The scraps fixed but not the experience scrolls. They all say account bound but still will not stack. Well at least one piece of space saved.

Since 2-3 patches the Merchant express/Trading Post Express and few more items that comes from Black Lion’s Chests are “Account Bound” while old onces are “Accoount Bound on Acquire” and now they don’t stack.

Not sure if this is bug or intended.

Oh, I know when the bug came to be. I simply didn’t know about the workaround and I was waiting for a fix.

Logged in to get my daily, got a Black Lion Chest. Opened it and got a Mystic Forge Stone, so I put it in my stack- or at least tried to. The stack in my back turned from ‘Account Bound’ to ‘Account Bound on Acquire’ and has stayed that way, even after being withdrawn. This has also happened with Bank Account Expresses, Merchant Expresses, Revive Orbs, Pristine Fractal Relics, Black Lion Claim Ticket Scraps, Completed Aetherkeys, all Boosters except Celebration and Holiday Boosters, Mystic Clovers, Gifts of Exploration and Thorns, and Icy Runestones. Is there any way to fix this, since withdrawing them didn’t help? It affected most of my bank, and I don’t have the room to be double stacking these items. It didn’t affect every Account Bound item, but very few were spared, so a fix would be appreciated.

So when I make a batch of clovers at the MF they all stack together, but I can’t add them to previous stacks of clovers I have made. Sometimes splitting the stacks works and they will combine some still won’t though so I currently have 3 separate groups of clovers which is frustrating because they need to be in a stack of 77 to put in the mystic forge for the gift of fortune.

they know of this bug its not just mystic clovers but about 10 items total. Try and see if this works put all your mystic clovers into your inventory switch maps. and see if you can stack them together. My guess is some say account bound and some say account bound on acquire? Hope this helps till they give us a more permanent fix.

I did 80 mystic clovers for my first legendary a while back, and obviously used only 77 and kept the remaining 3 for use in the future. Today I did 74 clovers, and I can not stack with the other 3. Why? Do I have to do 3 more and lose the ones I already have?

Put them in your inventory, change maps, and then put them in your bank. They’ll stack then.

It affects just about anything that is account bound, even sometimes after splitting a stack.

I got this problem too but with Blade shards and Instant lvl 20 scrolls. Gonna try this when I get home. Thanx in advance

Hi. I have some annoying items that will not combine into a single stack.

EG. 99 Clovers + 2 Clovers. 3 BLT Tickets + 4 BLT Tickets.

Is this a common thing? Am I doing something wrong? I thought the maximum stack of an item was 250?

They probably changed those items from “Account bound on acquire” to “Account bound”. This means the previous version items won’t stack with the current version items because the game sees them as completely different items. Even though they are technically the same item.

There are several items that have this problem, Blade Shard quickly comes to mind. The developers have done the same thing in previous updates, causing the same problem.

I truly do not know understand their logic with this issue.

But haven’t BLT tickets always been account-bound?

I honestly do not know. I have had a grand total of two BLT tickets ever and not at the same time.

The issue right now is that some account bound items are now dropping as “account bound on acquire”, which “technically” makes them different from the old ones sitting in your bank. However, it’s easily remedied by taking the items (the ones that aren’t stacking) in your inventory, changing maps, and then stacking them.

not sure if posted but last couple of daily rewards from black lion trade post do not stack with same items from BL and they dont stack in mystic forge either

this happened to me after an update a while back they would stack again after taking all out of storage and switching maps maybe that will work

Recently I’ve had lots of problems stacking items rewarded from completion chests, whether it’s daily/monthly/map completion, ect. Things like exp/skill point scrolls, boosters, and even one of my spinal blade blueprints won’t stack with the rest. They all still state “account bound” but some will still say “account bound on acquire” even though I already acquired them. I have tried removing them from the bank and combining in my bags, but makes no difference. Tried doing it on different characters too in case it still thinks some things are soulbound from before the big account bound changes from a while back. It’s becoming an increasingly bigger problem the more stuff I get because now I’m completely out of bank space thanks to this.

Well, I tried what you suggested. It worked for a few things, but not others. I managed to combine my boosters, spinal blade bp’s, and black lion ticket scraps. But everything else still won’t combine, namely my exp scrolls (not the writs). I have 2 separate kinds, neither will combine with each other, but in the tooltips they say the exact same things (it’s not the +20 or anything saying "account bound on acquire). The strange thing is that randomly exp scrolls I get will only combine with one stack but not the other and it’s random as to which stack they decide to combine with. I’m really hoping some devs will look at this and see what’s going on. Can provide screens if need be,
