Guild Wars 2

So I activated my Locus Swarm for swiftness, tried to pick the repair kit and ALL my abilities froze. I was in a Tournament and was completely useless. I had to exit game and re open which took away all my team points. this bug cost my team the game.

This bug is on the Battle of Kyhlo map where you have to pick up the repair kit to repair the Trebuchet.

I activated the locus swarm just before I picked up the repair kit, or attempted too. I never picked it up, but all my abilities were locked as if I had. I tried pressing my action key a few times to try to de bug it, no success. If it matters I was picking up the blue repair kit.

When I said locked I mean that I couldn’t activate any skill, 1 to ultimate skills all frozen, when I pressed an action nothing would happen as if they were frozen. coultn’t swap weapons.

My character could still roam and even stand on nodes to capture but like I stated everything else, frozen

I’ve similar encounters with abilities going “frozen” in both PvE and WvW. I cannot find out what triggers it or how to reanimate the bug but roughly it occurs in random when you perform 2-3 actions at once.

I can move, I can type out in chat, I can swap weapons but whenever a skill is pressed to cast, nothing happens. Cooldown doesn’t trigger off and nothing gets casted. Waypointing doesn’t quick-fix this and the only way is to either log out/character select or die (not down but be dead).

If I can recall correctly, it has been happening (once in a while) since the introduction of The Mad king patch..

This has happened to me in wvw a few times and once in LA after picking up a snowball. Sometimes it fixes itself somehow. It’s really hard to replicate it cuz it happens so rarely.

happened to me a few times in wvw. sometimes weapon swapping fixes it, sometimes using a siege blueprint works. usually i cant fix it and i have to reload which sucks when it’s wvw and the que time is insane
